Newsletter – September 2020 – Who Opened the Door?
Who Opened the Door?
With the Covid 19 virus raging on, the natural disasters, horrifying occurrences that have needlessly taken lives and finger pointing from officials as we move closer to the upcoming elections, I wonder Who Opened the Door – the one to Hell that is.
My sincere hope has been and remains that all your lives and those of your loved ones have not been affected by any of those occurrences. That you will continue to stay safe, healthy and happy!
As with many corporate entities, independents business owners and free lancers, I’ve experienced the need to reshape K-Kan, Inc. Even though we are still working to serve clients and help them catch up, keep up or get ahead of bookkeeping, marketing, research and other needs we now, more frequently than ever before, work remotely, with limited in person contact and plenty of computer monitor(s) face time.
Thanks for all followers that expressed that you missed the monthly organizational tips and links to other organizational ideas.
Of all the organizational skills I’ve learned and shared over my eleven years in business I’ve not shared thoughts about organizing your emotional self.
These days the emotion of grief falls heavy on our hearts when we think of the friends, and family we once gathered to share hugs and laughter. The weight of losing a job, or worrying when the next one will be found hangs like a cloud of grief over our heads where ever we go. Then, of course, there is that mountain of grief that is most frequently felt forever when the physical presence of a sufficient person in our lives is lost to us.
More than likely we all know the stages of grief – but this might be a good time to revisit them and explore how they may provide ways to move through the mental anguish you may be experiencing right now:
Denial (Isolation),
Guilt (If only),
Anger,
Bargaining,
Depression (refection and loneliness), Reconstruction (working through it with family), Acceptance and Hope.
