Newsletter- November- Which is it?
Thanks, Thank You, or Thank you very much…..?
Do you remember the first words you ever learned?
It’s very likely those words after “Mommy” and “Daddy”
were please and thank you. In fact, those are the first two words almost everyone learns when they begin to learn a new language or when they travel to a different country.
Saying thank you has power. Saying thank you will help you feel gratitude; it will help you share joy and kindness with others; it can make other people smile and feel happy.
Perfect example of Which It Is — Halloween YEARS ago Trick or Treating with my nephew by marriage — about 30 minutes into the adventure I asked,
are you remembering to say “Thank you”?
He said, oh yes, if they give me some candy I say “Thank You”
if they give me lots of candy I say “Thank you very much”.
Clearly he was sharing his appreciation and his joy.
As you celebrate the season with family and friends – Which ever word or phrase you choose FIND YOUR
appreciation and joy — be thankful and share it!!
Organizational tips regarding THOUGHTS especially useful during this busy time of the year:
#1 = TIME — set aside a small amount of time in the beginning of your day and right before bedtime to Organize your thoughts (review your schedule for tomorrow; add activities gained or left over; chronicle ideas or inspirations; revisit new commitments; etc)
#2 = WRITE it down — choose a note type program, pen and paper, electronic calendar or other such items where you can note the items from your day.
#3 = LEAVE it — after writing it down, noting it on your chosen program – move to your final project for the day — ENJOYING the peace that an organized mind brings.
Wishing you the Best for a share of happy Thanksgiving with THANKS in my Heart,
